The first BanglaGallery site was hosted in Geocities free web hosting services and “banglagallery.com” domain was registered on 29th March, 2000. Over the years we have grown in terms of popularity but our main objective to introduce and promote our country and culture has never changed.

At the current phase, our site is extremely active and we are capable of sharing images, audio and video files. Because of the enormous growth of the site it requires a large amount of our personal time and energy on a weekly and daily basis. But the main issue is not the willingness to update our educational material, but we face the space and data transfer limits to accomplish all the wonderful plans we have for this site. Frankly speaking, the cost of maintaining the site's traffic has increased and we are always challenging our bandwidth allotments.

Consequently, we were forced to look for advertisement and donation. All money collected through these on-line donations will be saved and used as needed to pay server and other Internet fees, and possibly used to purchase software that can improve the content on the website and forums.
